Sad to see the age limit, it was a good family event last year, as were all the previous TAG events we have held with mixed ages. Accountants 1 Rugby Players 0

Having a league system is really dependent on numbers Wil. I'm happy to organise it, we'll just have to see how we go over the next few weeks.

Good numbers down at the first tag night of the year. Trent RL were heavily in attendance and as old snakehips wasn't down the Hitman took home the MVP and much of the plaudits. I think everyone had a good time and hope to see more peeps down next week.

FLOOD DEFENCE. Originally the Environment Agency wished to build up the existing wall on Victoria Embankment by 40cm and extend it around following the curve of treeline, river and road. Now they wish to meander a 3.1m "embankment" across the lower sports field where TAG is played (1.8m high on the top field). It will consist of a wide path on top of gentle sloping earthwork banks and will consume much sports area. Whole area is protected by Conveyances stating it is intended for recreation grounds only and forever. Make sure you respond to NCC your councillor etc in the coming "presentations" where they will be inviting comments. SAVE THE VICTORIA EMBANKMENT RECREATION GROUNDand build up the existing flood wall
