Five for Morgan Corker - turning up to Origin day to watch, support and learn. Admittedly, he might not have meant to learn, but it's unavoidable when you watch. Peter Wilson - 36 George Larmond - 33 Jack Wilkinson - 31 Eryn Ford - 30 Nic Mouj - 27 Charles Logan - 24 Dylan Edginton - 23 Joe Frobisher - 23 Morgan Corker - 21 Sam Turnbull - 20 Zak White - 20 Callum Wynne - 20 Damian Jameson - 19 Alex Betts - 18 Dan Hyams - 18 Jimmy Knowles - 18 Isa Cashmore - 17 Will Heath - 17 Jamal McKenzie - 17 David Barron - 14 Damian Smith - 14 Ethan Hendricks - 14 Connor Leighton - 14 Cameron Hannah - 13 Mackenzie Lang - 7 Rory Mason - 7 Jordan Mills - 7 Thando Ndlovu - 6 Coach Sadler - minus 1

When the chips were down and everyone around them was going on holiday or playing football or "doing something else" or simply not bothering to answer, a group of players stepped forward when it mattered.
As it happened, Telford grasped at a petty administrative point and used it as an excuse not to travel.
For stepping up to the mark - 3 points.
For scaring Telford - 3 points.
The lesson, as you look at the table, is clear. If you want a top place in the Social League you need to work hard on and off the pitch. As Wilson and Ford drop back and Larmond and Wilkinson close in on 40 points it also shows the benefit of keeping going till the end.
Well done everyone - just one more week of the regular season to go - and the winners will be revealed.
George Larmond - 39 Jack Wilkinson - 37 Peter Wilson - 36 Nic Mouj - 33 Eryn Ford - 30 Charles Logan - 30 Joe Frobisher - 29 Morgan Corker - 27 Callum Wynne - 26 Damian Jameson - 25 Alex Betts - 24 Dan Hyams - 24 Isa Cashmore - 23 Dylan Edginton - 23 Sam Turnbull - 20 Zak White - 20 Jimmy Knowles - 18 Will Heath - 17 Jamal McKenzie - 17 David Barron - 14 Damian Smith - 14 Ethan Hendricks - 14 Connor Leighton - 14 Cameron Hannah - 13 Mackenzie Lang - 7 Rory Mason - 7 Jordan Mills - 7 Thando Ndlovu - 6 Coach Sadler - minus 1

You should use a colon as a separator, as it makes it look like everyone is on negative points

You should use a colon as a separator, as it makes it look like everyone is on negative points I had notice this. So there for as a minus, minus a minus = a plus Coach Sadler is in the lead?

Though use of the word "minus" might serve as a pointer...

Though use of the word "minus" might serve as a pointer... So one piece of information at the bottom of the post makes a whole post of ambiguity ok then does it? As for you Liam, don't try to be smart. No-one's fooled

Ambiguity is a fact of life, so this is a lesson to the young men of the U16s.
That lesson is - be guided by your heart that tells you the points are positive, not by a geek who tells you the "-" makes them negative.
This is an example of FEAR - False Evidence Appearing Real.
Believe what you know Young Outlaws and ignore the Geek!

Two points for everyone who read the email and turned up to training. I know some of you have a variety of pathetic excuses like being on holiday but I am hard-hearted and don't see why people can't take holidays in the Rugby Union season. No show = no points.
Some of you went as far as to not show up on Tuesday but to turn out for Rugby Union training on Wednesday.
Interesting...
Two extra points to Peter Wilson, who breaks the 40 point barrier, for getting off a bus from the airport, changing and being at training within half an hour.
Two extra for Alex Betts - just for coming even though he is really a footballer. Maybe he will see the light...
Finally - welcome to Ben Goddard and Joseph Shaw who have put in a solid performance and are on eight points without playing a game. Not bad!
So who will it be come Sunday and the closing of the Social League? Will it be Peter Wilson, aided by his father being the one who gives the points out? Will George Larmond summon up the effort to overhaul the leader or will Jack Wilkinson, the Quiet Man of the team, stretch out and take the prize?
With Wrong Man Mouj away on holiday and Logan and Frobisher wallowing in the low 30s it looks like a 3 way race...
Peter Wilson - 40 George Larmond - 39 Jack Wilkinson - 37 Nic Mouj - 33 Charles Logan - 32 Joe Frobisher - 31 Eryn Ford - 30 Morgan Corker - 29 Alex Betts - 28 Damian Jameson - 27 Dan Hyams - 26 Callum Wynne - 26 Isa Cashmore - 25 Dylan Edginton - 23 Sam Turnbull - 20 Zak White - 20 Jimmy Knowles - 18 Will Heath - 17 Jamal McKenzie - 17 David Barron - 14 Damian Smith - 14 Ethan Hendricks - 14 Connor Leighton - 14 Cameron Hannah - 13 Ben Goddard - 8 Joseph Shaw - 8 Mackenzie Lang - 7 Rory Mason - 7 Jordan Mills - 7 Thando Ndlovu - 6 Coach Sadler - minus 1

As the dust settles on yet another entry in the L column and the Northampton parents remark on the "physicality" of our team (plus the rugged good looks of the referee) we are left to clear up, reflect on another season of RL and wonder why we are still managing to recruit players with our record. We must just be a fun crowd to be with...
So here goes.
For turning up despite knowing in your heart of hearts we were doomed - 3 points.
For heroics on the field above and beyond the call of duty, specifically for that catch when he looked like a matchstick surrounded by dinosaurs, Will Heath - 5 points.
For a pair of cracking debuts against a tough team, and for fitting in seamlessly, Ben Goddard and Joseph Shaw - 5 points each.
For services to the art of tackling - Isa Cashmore - 5 points.
For helping with the post protectors and flags (because this league is really about off-field activity as much as anything) - 3 points each to Haeth, Wilson, Hendricks, Larmond, White, Cashmore, Goddard, Shaw, Frobisher and Logan (did I miss anyone out?).
For running the line - five points for Jamal McKenzie.
For coming to watch despite still recovering from pneumonia - five points for Damian Smith.
For getting up very early to travel down from Leeds and then going back up for a family party - Joe Frobisher - 5 points. That's the essence of being an Outlaw.
Ditto, but doing the driving and paying for the petrol and being ref - Gerry Frobisher - priceless.
For being a quiet RL presence when everyone else was spilling the ball and trying to win the match on their own - 5 points to Jack Wilkinson.
For services to recruiting (though ultimately doomed by red tape) Zak White - 3 points.
For finally learning to run round people - 1point for Dan Hyams and finally, for communication when stick in a traffic jam - a pouint for Damian Jameson. managers like communication and iot's traditional every season that at least one person gets stuck in traffic. In fact have another point for upholding traditional values.
So there you are - after a season of heroics and bag packing (which is how I will remember it anyway) we have joint winners and the first awards of the 2011 season are in the bag for George Larmond and Jack Wilkinson.
Now I just need to find something suitably tacky to mark their success...
George Larmond - 45 Jack Wilkinson - 45 Peter Wilson - 43 Joe Frobisher - 42 Charles Logan - 38 Isa Cashmore - 36 Nic Mouj - 33 Eryn Ford - 30 Morgan Corker - 32 Damian Jameson - 32 Alex Betts - 31 Dan Hyams - 30 Zak White - 29 Will Heath - 28 Callum Wynne - 26 Dylan Edginton - 23 Jamal McKenzie - 22 Ethan Hendricks - 20 Sam Turnbull - 20 Ben Goddard - 19 Joseph Shaw- 19 Damian Smith - 19 Jimmy Knowles - 18 Connor Leighton - 17 David Barron - 14 Cameron Hannah - 13 Mackenzie Lang - 7 Rory Mason - 7 Jordan Mills - 7 Thando Ndlovu - 6 Coach Sadler - minus 1
