Seen as we are playing Derby this week I thought I would mention the game a couple of years back when we played them away. Think it was early in the seaosn, maybe even first game and we were losing 10-8 I think with literally a couple of minutes left.
Rob Brown passed me the ball from dummy half and came on a run round, I dummied him, straigthened up and put John Hemingway back on the inside. Derby scrambled in defence and despite having about 3 blokes on him he managed to free his hands and off-load back to me. I had a lunge for the line and got pushed back, but, like Hemingway got my hands free and off-loaded. The ball then went through 4-5 pairs of hands down the line and I think it was Roy Yorke who scored in the corner to win it 12-10.
I remember still being on the floor as Roy scored and turning to see John grab me and we were both punching the air.
Was absolutely brilliant. I love beating them lot ;D
Fingers crossed we do it again this week ............

Just a reminder, but didn't they beat us in the return game at Moderns 28-8? No repeats of that please...
