Random team selection methods

To avoid my blushes due to getting picked last, can I request a return to the random team generator used last season?

E.g. talls v shorts, odd numbered birthdays v even numbered birthdays, 'cold' colours v 'hot' colours, etc...

last nights 'lower body apparel length' split seemed to work well. Any other ideas welcome.

Why not just toss a coin for who gets Shep then pick teams normally after that?
